Starting Off
This project began as an adventure to travel the lower peninsula and get a taste and feel for the best beers and breweries in Michigan. We traveled east to west, north to south and discovered some of the best breweries and some of the best Michigan brewed beers and we've recorded our experiences.
We started off by taste testing some Michigan Beers of our own. We spent a couple hours learning and studying the styles, tastes and other important information to know about beer that could help us in this project. Ron Rau, the Operations Manager for Fabiano Brothers, gave us an informational beer taste testing of Michigan beers and helped us jump start our project. From IPAs to pilsners to stouts, we tried them all and wanted to be as informed as possible about Michigan beer to find the best breweries around. |

Our ideas didn't stop there. We also decided to talk to the faces of beer. We spoke to home brewers, brewmasters, brewery owners and many other people to gain insight about the beer industry. We have included their perspectives on beer and their stories in our package as well.
The package was created to share some of what Michigan has to offer to the beer industry. We searched near and far and gathered a lot of information to share with you. As a team we have created this website to make the search for a great Michigan beer or brewery a little easier.
